Corrections. If something on the site is wrong or out of date, tell us the page and what needs fixing. Accuracy matters to us, especially on food safety.

Barbecue history. Reliable sources about barbecue traditions, or about the history of the Hog Pit name, are always welcome.

HogPit.com features smoked meats in four styles: Kansas City brisket, Carolina pulled pork, Nebraska Angus brisket and Nebraska Angus tenderloin. The individual products in each style change from time to time as items go out of stock or new ones become available. If you have had a great experience with a smoked meat that fits one of those styles, you are welcome to suggest it. We cannot respond to every message, but every one is read.
